Another week of sentences. I had a good writing session last night after some pretty stilted (close to non-existant) ones on other days. I am not very good at beginnings . . . I just want to skip to the action. Which tells me I should probably put more action in the beginning. I leaned into that last night and it felt good to get 1,000 words done in what felt like no time at all.
Early days, though. I’m still figuring out the plot!
Here are my last sentences from this past week:
- 12/1: Harsh.
- 12/2: I wish she’d go somewhere else while I was trying not to cry.
- 12/3: I could smell her sweat.
- 12/4: We don’t go down that road anymore.
- 12/5: What about Matt?
- 12/6: You’re getting distracted.
- 12/7: You’d have a pretty crappy way of showing it if that’s how you treat his sister
With Love,
Natalie
