An uninspiring update this time as most of the last week has been taken over by travel, wedding festivities, and seeing the new Spider-Man twice . . .
That said, I’ve kept up writing a little each day and am about 30K words into my rewrite. I realized yesterday that I’m entering a section that will have more edits than others so I’m ready to break out my outline for reference as I sally forth.
In the meantime, here are my last sentences written from this past week:
- 7/2: “That’s not what this is,” I tell him.
- 7/3: There’s a collage of photos stuck on the fridge with multi-colored magnets and I move in automatically.
- 7/4: “Up and up,” Luke says.
- 7/5: They lead two stories up to a wide finished attic bedroom.
- 7/6: And a Nintendo 64.
- 7/7: I think I still have that fever.
- 7/8: This time, he doesn’t catch me.
With Love,
Natalie
