My best writing day was vising Write On over the weekend, but I’m still feeling like I’m making progress on my writing. I’m looking forward to more time at Write On over the weekend and plan to get in a couple of writing sessions this week beforehand so I don’t have too much catch-up to do. I can already tell that on the first revision I’ll have to cut a lot of these meandering running scenes but I like writing them and that’s what trash drafts are for.

Here are my last sentences written from this past week:

  • 5/26  I should tell her not to rush, but she wasn’t really asking a question.
  • 5/27: How far?
  • 5/28: She’s already moving to the trailhead.
  • 5/29: When she asks me if I still want that coffee, I tell her no and run home alone.
  • 5/30: But she doesn’t ask.
  • 5/31: I must’ve because I kept saying yes.
  • 6/1: Coach has us count off into three groups so we don’t stumble over one another on the track.

With Love,

Natalie
