I had fewer writing nights in the past week, but thanks to a productive Saturday at the Writing Center I didn’t miss my word count goal by much. I’m going to see what I can do to make it up this week. I should be helped along since I’m onto some drama-filled scenes at the moment. They are always fun to write (especially the trash draft versions) and seem to go a lot faster.
Here are my last sentences written from this past week:
- 6/16: It’s not worth the energy . . . or the cream cheese.
- 6/17: My right foot slips during the turn but I rebalance and keep moving.
- 6/18: Our town gossip doesn’t reach Michigan.
- 6/19: Maybe if I wrote it like it was true it would manifest?
- 6/20: “Yes,” I say emphatically.
- 6/21: The glass shatters.
- 6/22: Please tell me you’re not drunk.
With Love,
Natalie
