I’m so close to the end, that I’ll save the final update for when I reach the end on Saturday. A real first draft here I come.
Plus I’m so spent on writing other things today, I don’t have much in me left for this but to say that I am writing, I have lots of fears about the readability and quality of this story, but I am writing anyway. Feedback makes perfect and I’ll never get any unless I finish, be vulnerable, and share.

- 8/20: I expect my stomach to drop, but it stays put.
- 8/21: Mom would approve.
- 8/22: Mason, Rachel, and Maple are all waiting for me when I get home.
- 8/23: Don’t ever bring up that piece of shit again.
- 8/24: Luke and I both jump to our feet.
- 8/25: I huff and hug her back.
- 8/26: I really can’t win.
