Less writing in this past week – I’ll blame the vaccines symptoms and then hanging out with family for the holiday weekend – but my brain seems to think something important is going to happen at this campfire scene . . . I’m hoping to pick up my writing pace in this next quarter, so here’s to some good writing sessions in the week ahead!
In the meantime, here are my last sentence written from this past week:
- 3/31: Jordan went to steal the marshmallows.
- 4/1: He never came.
- 4/2: The firelight was too weak for me to make out her expression.
- 4/3: Close, Reese’s Pieces.
- 4/4: His elbow rammed into my ribs.
- 4/5: Someone’s headlights came on and lit up the clearing drawing a collective, drunken whine from the crowd.
- 4/6: The crushed can missed the windshield and the car entirely, disappearing into the dirt without so much as a thump.
With Love,
Natalie
