I’ll be honest, my fiction writing brain wasn’t on this last week . . . though I do think I dream of Clarke and Reese and pushed into half finished scenes one sentence at a time . . . we’ve a ways to go. I need to work on getting a little more balanced again managing increased workload right now. My body and my mind have been tired. But there’s only so far you can throw than excuse.
Here are my last sentences from this past week:
- 2/2: Across the river, someone had draped the school flag over a tree branch.
- 2/3: I was soaked through to my socks.
- 2/4: I used to come out here with Riley.
- 2/5: Not a chance
- 2/6: Maybe I should bite my tongue.
- 2/7: Nine times.
- 2/8: The first steps didn’t feel any different.
With Love,
