You get up by 4:30. Tomorrow by 4. Online with the central time zone.
You take a morning break to run before it gets too hot. It’s still really hot.
You take meetings on the lanai. Which is nice.
You take meetings without your typical second screen. Less nice.
A little after one o’clock, you’re done. An afternoon ahead of you.
It is a privilege — to be here, to be able to work remotely.
But still, you’d rather not be working at all.
Next week.
With Love,
Natalie
