My best friends are visiting me this week. Hallelujah. Today was our first full day and it shaped up into a very Door County vacation day.
- We started the morning by visiting the farmers’ market in Bailey’s Harbor.
- We went to the final matinee showing of I and You at Peninsula Players theater. I went in with no expectations and the play far exceeded them. One of the better plays I’ve seen in my life.
- We visited Stone’s Throw Winery and sat outside in the members’ area (thank you, mama), and enjoyed wine and antipasti on a beautiful September day. It was perfect light sweater weather with the sun shining.
Tonight we’ll eat leftover pizza and catch up on zoom with our friend and enjoy more of this excellent wine.
