We had a unique experience tonight where we visited our neighbors/friends for the premiere of their episode on “The Wall”, an NBC game show (where LeBron James is an executive producer). Christiana and Nic own Door County Candle Company and started the fundraiser to support Ukraine last year with their blue and yellow Ukraine candle. Last summer they filmed this game show in California and tonight it finally premiered so we got to watch it live (something I don’t do very often . . . TV has so many commercials, streaming services have us spoiled).

I do love game shows, though — in a past life I watched them a lot. “Deal or No Deal”, “Friend or Foe”, “The Price Is Right” . . . although it is nerve-wracking. And it is a lot of fun to see people you know on a national game show; much easier to get invested.

It was fun! Makes me want to turn game shows on in the background again. Confirms that I should not be on a game show involving trivia (although I actually do feel like I’m good at guessing answers I do not know, there’s a vibe to them). Although who knew that if you drill straight through the earth from Iowa you’d end up in the Indian Ocean? It’s always Iowa.

With Love,
