The recipe of feelings talks with friends:

  1. State the intention: we want to talk about feelings tonight
  2. Optional: Open bottles of red wine, imbibe
  3. Provide snacks
  4. Hydrate (water, in-between the red wine)
  5. Gather around the kitchen
  6. Someone has to start
  7. What feelings talk includes: anything. Sex. Sexuality. Family. Gender. Relationships. Feelings that can be heavy but now they have a space to be a little lighter, spoken out loud in a safe place
  8. Optional: Tissues
  9. Repeat, repeat, keep eating snacks, keep hydrating
  10. End on a high note. May I suggest Mario Kart.
