I’m at a very hipster hotel in Austin. We were originally supposed to have our big company event here last January but had to cancel because of the Covid surge at the top of the year. So, we ended up with some credits to use that my leadership team is taking advantage of for annual planning meetings this weekend and on Monday.

Here’s what I mean by hipster: each room has a record player and you can request vinyl records to your room. At check-in, I was encouraged to play them. There was already a Leon Bridges record in my room so I played it last night while I unpacked. You know, it was pretty cool. Should I get into records?

I’m about to meet up with my team for breakfast which eventually will lead to tailgating and the UT football game tonight. It’s not really my speed, but I hope it’s fun. And at least I’ll have this very Austin-weird (but very nice) room to come back to.

With Love,
Natalie
