I’m wrapping up another Leadership Development Program class this week. It’s always a little bittersweet. In the final week, I always have us watch this Ted Talk together by Shawn Achor, author of The Happiness Advantage.
It’s an engaging, funny twelve minutes that always makes me smile and I hope grounds the program at the end.
Because as much as I’m interested in developing leadership skills, I’m more interested in happiness, purpose, joy. And it doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive.
