- Not a Turkey Trot or the Berbee Derby, but I do my own run this morning. It’s sunny, and warmer, a welcome to the day.
- I pull The Sun card. Good fortune, joy, happiness. Enjoy life.
- Just the five of us this year — calm, relaxed, easy.
- My mom continues to be the best cook. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, cranberries, all wrapped up in lefse. I make the fancy butter and set the table.
- A four-plus mile walk around the point after dinner.
- A soak in the hot tub.
- I got us matching t-shirts for one of our family slogans. Pictured below.
- Homemade apple pie and vanilla ice cream.
- Card games and drinks around the kitchen table.
- I love, love, love my family.
