I so rarely cook, but after errands and groceries today I decided to pull out a recipe that’d been sitting in my Paprika app for years (I don’t think I’ve ever made it before): Taco Pie.

It’s a simple recipe. You need crescent rolls (that magic bread, you can make anything with them), ground beef or turkey (I always use ground turkey when recipes call for ground beef), taco seasoning, sour cream, cheese, and tortilla chips.

Cook the crescent roll dough flattened in a cake pan or similar. Brown the ground turkey and then add the taco seasoning. Once the dough’s cooked, layer the ground turkey on top of it plus the sour cream and cheese. Top with crumbled tortilla chips. Bake again at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Wha-la. Taco Pie. Or casserole. Or something close enough with all the delicious taco flavors.

It turned out great and I’m consuming with a glass of wine while viewing Iron Man. A+ Sunday evening.

With Love,

Natalie
