It’s easy to get 10,000 steps running around a hotel. Today, the masses arrived.

A day of problem-solving and logistics and running around with brief respites of quiet where there was still so much to do. A manager training that was a nice break and connection with others. A couple of fires that were doused, thank god.

A dinner with my small team tonight in my room with my favorite Torchy’s Tacos and tarot readings followed by a nighttime soak in the pool.

Relaxing. Sober — I’ll need to be for the early start and whirlwind of a day that tomorrow will be.

It’s lovely to see people. I have a good team and a good company. People are generally kind and patient and laugh together.

It’s lovely to get out of my head and focus on what needs to be done, even though it feels like there are so many things that need to be done that I don’t even know about. It’s hard to be responsible for other people’s enjoyment and fun because everyone has a different sense of what’s enjoyable and fun. . . but here we are, trying.

And action is good, even if it makes my mind spin at least my mind doesn’t have time to dwell on anything else. So here’s to a little chaos this week.

With Love,
Natalie
