I’m in Solon, IA this weekend (just outside of Iowa City) for my best friends’ wedding this weekend! We got up early this morning (my mom and I) to drive the six hours down from Door County. Smooth sailing. We checked out a cute and delicious cafe in town for lunch and then hung out with Lin and Cara at the venue (the Palmer House Stable) and went over a few logistics.
Now I’m back at a nearby hotel to check-in, regroup, and then head back to the venue for a casual hangout with appetizers, appropriate dubbed “Friday Night Bites”.
So . . . short post since I need to get ready but I am so thrilled to be with my friends this weekend and celebrate. Plus, I’m officiating again tomorrow! I’ll need to run through my lines a few times tonight. Wish me luck!
