Snow day, a foot of snow, a foot and a half, it feels like more. As a kid, I would’ve been thrilled, no school. As an adult who works from their home, it doesn’t change much about my week other than I can’t go running. Or I chose not to go running. I suppose I could have been hardcore about it, but snow days feel like working in sweatpants days to me.

The snow builds up the bird feeder all day and my cats watch as the balcony piles up with snow. My parents were smart to advise me to leave my car in their garage a few days ago so I have no reason to go out and continuously shovel it out. I mean, I probably wouldn’t have at the frequency you’re supposed to and then I would’ve had a completely buried car.

The snow has stopped now. But looking at the temperatures ahead I think it will be here to stay. I predict a winter wonderland through March. Spring, feel free to come early and prove me wrong.

With Love,
Natalie
