I am operating at 85-90% but I almost feel like a person again — clean home, mopped floors and all, catching up on studying, and an outing with my folks to Island Orchard Cidery and then Hugel Haus in Ellison Bay. Lavender cider and Käsespätzel . . . heavenly.
My head still hurts a bit and there’s some lingering grossness in my lungs (. . . colds last forever . . . does everyone else just . . . not complain about them?), but my sheets are washed and my counters wiped and I answered questions about HR practices without too much brain fog.
There was even a post office run for I work completed this morning—King Productivity over here.
I have a list for the weekend that also includes procuring real food again (aka, go to the grocery store), more studying (I’m not as behind as I thought but I did fail one of the three quiz games I played today to test my knowledge so I need to put some more hours in), and some other life logistics that pile up when you spend the week either working or coughing in bed.
I also may or may not have spent a half hour tonight trying to learn the viral “Austin” line dance. I’m not quite there, but it got my heart rate up again.
With Love,
Natalie
