I’ve been extra introspective these last few weeks around my potential futures: career, geography, family, finance. As I work through the dissonance of loving where I’m at now while planning for something different down the road, I want to at least point my energy in (what I think is) the right direction.

A couple of times a year I feel a little craftier than usual, so I decided to try to make a Vision Board today (my definition of “craftier” is literally just gathering and printing photos). After a few shopping mishaps where I didn’t end up with the bulletin board I’d planned on hanging in my room, I decided to do Vision Board 1.0 on my refrigerator. At least I’m guaranteeing I’ll look at it every day.

It’s half done, but I enjoyed finding some of the photos and quotes I wanted to include: A golden retriever on a boat. A quote about writing. A child being adopted. A reading room overlooking the water. It’s a start.

Refrigerator Vision Board 1.0
