It is important to me that everyone knows Glennon Doyle now has a podcast. Glennon Doyle wrote one of my favorite books of 2020, Untamed, which I read twice. The podcast is called We Can Do Hard Things.

Here’s part of the podcast description:

“Because we experienced the hardship of the pandemic collectively, many of us finally acknowledged what was true before COVID and will be true after: That life is freaking HARD. We are all doing hard things every single day – things like loving and losing caring for children and parents; forging and ending friendships; battling addiction, illness, and loneliness; struggling in our jobs, our marriages, and our divorces; setting boundaries; and fighting for equality, purpose, freedom, joy, and peace. On We Can Do Hard Things, my sister Amanda and I will do the only thing I’ve found that has ever made life easier: We will drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard.”

Here’s the link to the first episode: Anxiety: Is It Just Love Holding Its Breath?

I’m listening to the second now, all about boundaries.

At the end of the first episode, we hear an original song that broke my heart and put me back together again. It’s an anthem Glennon’s daughter wrote and performed for the podcast that was produced by Brandi Carlile.

Here’s one set of the lyrics that hit me in the heart:

I hit rock bottom / it felt like a brand new start

I’m not the problem / sometimes things fall apart

I continue to believe / The best people are free

And it took some time / but I’m finally fine

This has been your PSA.

With Love,
Natalie
