A general PSA that Dr. Brené Brown has a new book out, Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience. I’m waiting for my copy, but in the meantime, I can recommend three related podcasts. Two from Glennon Doyle’s We Can Do Hard Things podcast where Dr. Brown was a guest this week, and part one of what will be a three-part series on the Unlocking Us podcast that Dr. Brown hosts.

The Book Bio:

If we want to find the way back to ourselves and one another, we need language and the grounded confidence to both tell our stories and to be stewards of the stories that we hear. In Atlas of the Heart, we explore eighty-seven of the emotions and experiences that define what it means to be human and walk through a new framework for cultivating meaningful connection. This is for the mapmakers and travelers in all of us.

If I have spiritual masters, Brené Brown is one of them. I’ve already got so much from this book just from the podcast discussions – language matters so much – and I can’t wait to dig into the full story. Plus it’s a beautiful book cover:
