Perspective. In one definition, the exercise of remembering that while we can do important things at work, work is often the least important thing.

A hard conversation. A big project. A promotion. A demotion. It can feel big. It can be big. Our work and careers inevitably impact our lives and they matter (financially for most of us, if nothing else).

But then, like today, I learn of someone else’s circumstances that grind support calls and client education and org charges into molehills. There are mountains out there that we can not ignore. Family, for one.

Perspective. It’s just an email, it’s not a life.

With Love,

Natalie
