Yesterday, at long last, the Percy Jackson and The Olympians trailer for the new Disney+ show was finally released along with a premiere date: December 20th. This will become my whole personality in the future, so this is your warning.

I have already sent this PSA to a lot of people in my life but here is the trailer for your viewing or reviewing enjoyment:

Walker Scobell, who plays Percy, was terrific in The Adam Project (a Netflix original movie with Ryan Reynolds that I highly recommend) and I have high hopes for him as Percy.

If you haven’t read the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan before (or haven’t read them in a while), your official countdown has started. The first season is based on the first book in the series: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. It’s a middle-grade book. It doesn’t take long to read. It’s great. You know who you are.

It’s been a hard summer but at least 2023 will give us this gift before the new year. Thank the gods for Percy Jackson.

With Love,

Natalie
