Away from the screens and the podcasts and even the conversation, my brain wakes up unexpectedly. Driving the boat for an hour on a quiet Sunday — we have the whole lake to ourselves. It’s amazing what beautiful afternoons people miss because they’re watching football teams disappoint them.
With the old motor and the wind, I think of new stories to tell, different puzzle pieces to put together. It’ll take time, but it’s nice to see that ideas still spark. Apparently, I just need to spend more time outside in silence.
Here’s to more quiet moments.
With Love,
Natalie
