So approximately two to four years ago I bought a magic bullet. You know, the small appliance that blends things. Smoothies. Sauces. Freaking brushetta if the recipe booklet that came with it is to be believed. It came from a Bed, Bath, and Beyond I think. I threw it in the cart and I’m pretty sure my parents actually footed the bill.

It was approximately ten hours ago that I used it for the first time. I had to open the instructions. Plug it it. Gather ingredients (spinach, frozen fruit, orange juice). Lock in place. Blend. It was good.

The lesson here is that no one should buy cooking instruments for me because it will take me approximately two to four years to do anything about it. Just ask the Kitchen Aid mixer sitting decoratively on the counter. It’s red. It’s dusty.

I may use the magic bullet again tomorrow, though. And the day after. How else am I supposed to consume the bag of spinach in my fridge? Can you freeze spinach to save for smoothies? See, no one should trust me in a kitchen.

The end.

With Love,

Natalie
