After a couple of productive but packed days, today was meant to be lowkey. A little less work, a little more gratitude:

  1. Rainy morning, reading & Netflix
  2. Finally listened to At the Mountains of Dadness, one of the Dungeons and Daddies spin-off mini-series (that first came out in 2019, I believe, so I’m late to the party).
  3. Afternoon walk around the point, the sun peaked through the clouds just a little, just enough
  4. Organizing books and craft supplies (I know, I do actually have some artsy things in my home), a few little chores to keep making space
  5. Skittlet gnocchi and fried eggs
  6. A lavender bubble bath
  7. A Lily of the Valley candle, burning all day

I am hyper-prioritizing care and calm right now, a battle against my anxiety that I’m mostly winning as I enter a new season. But unhurried, free long weekends like this make it easy to ground myself. To tend to my space, my health, my mind. This is the season of light. Early sunrises, late sunsets. Time stops and starts. A pause to breathe (or panic) and then the sand keeps flowing through the hourglass. Only one way to go right now — Onward.

A stop along my walk this afternoon

With Love,

Natalie
