We’re all about new experiences. That’s a Morgan Family saying. As of today. One of many.
This evening’s new experience was venturing up to Ellison Bay on a Thursday to eat at Hügel Haus for the first time. We had Oktoberfest beers and ate hearty German meals: an appetizer of potato pancakes followed by the käsespätzel — a cheese spätzel (a type of German dumpling-like pasta) dish that I added grilled chicken to. It was absolutely delicious. I love good spätzel.

It was a nice setting too — indoors, but spacious with a high-ceiling and generous space between tables. It felt uncrowded and relaxed. We’ll definitely return.
With Love,
