Merlin turns seven today! (Arthur will follow next week). Seven years of giant cat cuddles. Although both of them started out so small when I adopted them at four months old from Austin Pets Alive, ringworm and all. I’ll never forget those first couple of weeks with them locked in my bathroom while I gave them baths and shoved medicine down their throat. The trauma bonding has served us well.
Merlin always had that serious face, even a kitten. Now he’s just my giant malleable teddy bear who spends every night sleeping by my left side.

We celebrated with a dinner of wet food (they’re usually both on dry food only, so hopefully a real treat).
With Love,
Natalie
