My friend Lin gave me my first non-salon haircut tonight! I had planned to have them cut it when I visited, but we almost forgot with all the election stress. But I want it cut as it was starting to edge into long territory again (and definitely would through the winter).
They’ve been cutting their wife Cara’s hair for a long time (and used to cut their own hair) and have all the bells and whistles– so I trusted them to know what they were doing. I went shorter than I have in a while and I am so into it. I just wanted to have hair that would dry faster, especially with the winter chill. Plus it gives my hair more room to grow out without me getting antsy again for a while.
