It’s my mom’s birthday weekend and she suggested something new this year: birth chart readings!
I’ve had my done once before (virtually with my friends in November 2021), but this time we went as a group (my mom, me, and her friend) to an in-person group reading in Sturgeon Bay: Emerald Island Alchemy with Andrea Nicoupolis-Weliky.
My mom had heard her on the Door County Pulse podcast ages ago and wanted to try it . . . and what better time than your birthday weekend!
It was a lot of fun and a lot of education on how to read a birth chart with all the signs and planets and houses. We also found out my mom and I have a lot of similarities in our charts: we have the same rising sign (Scorpio) and moon sign (Pieces).
There’s so much to understand and look up, I’m glad I have a copy of my chart to refer to and dig deeper where I want to. But there’s nothing that beats people reading your stars and telling you things about yourself that make you feel seen by the cosmos.
