To Stoughton and back
Driving my grandparents’ car north
With my grandparents too
And their stories and their love
We talk about family histories
And stop for Culver’s
And make good time
This evening my mom prepares
Homemade pizzas, a production
But it’s worth it
After dinner, we pass around addicting candy
And play Euchre games at the kitchen table
Tomorrow they’ll be back home
But Thanksgiving began tonight
