Glennon Doyle released her journal Get Untamed this week.

The pitch: “Get Untamed: The Journal, she walks us through a new way of journaling, one that reveals how we can stop striving to meet others’ expectations—because when we finally learn that satisfying the world is impossible, we quit pleasing, and start living.”

As you know, Glennon Doyle has been a gift to me (and to us all) especially in the last two years since I read her book Untamed and she started her podcast “We Can Do Hard Things”.

Tonight, I attended her virtual event (along with another 13,000 people, the chat was wild) where Glennon, her sister Amanda, and her wife Abby Wambach talked about the journal and their lives and asked and answered hard questions. The vulnerability in Glennon’s writing and podcast is what keeps me coming back.

I’m waiting for my copy of the journal in the mail and I’m excited to go through the prompts over the next month. I think it will be a good exercise as I approach a new year (and consider a new word for 2022).

With Love,

Natalie
