The crackle of a fire. A winter storm outside. But the power is on. I’m warm. I’m laughing. I’ve got nothing to do. Or rather, I am going to do nothing. For a bit. For a night. It’s been a week of long days so a long weekend feels overdue (never mind the holidays were only two weeks ago).

I like standing in front of the fire until my skin itches. I eat frozen pizza. I play a few failed games of cards while rewatching Fantasy High (Season 2, Sophomore Year) on Dropout.

I miss the wine, a little, on cozy nights like these. But Dry January has me so fucking hydrated. That must be a good thing. It turns out all I needed was a glass straw. Shout out to glasses from Ten by Ten.

With Love,

Natalie
