Erupt

You are stronger than the wind

But some days the wind blows softly

You are louder than the wind

When it howls and breaks your ears

You are the mountain

That no storm can move

But in time, even mountains crumble

Some sink slowly back to the depths

Others erupt

You erupt

Not like the fireworks shooting into the sky

Instead, you ooze over the edge

Lava rolling slowly down the slope

Slow enough that people stop

Take a picture

But you don’t need speed

To burn everything from here to the sea
