The earth mostly receives equal light
No matter where you are on the map
Someone’s winters are bathed in darkness
But their summer days are long

That’s what I think about tonight
When hoping for sunrise feels like a trap
We will get our share of light
As long as the world keeps spinning

And even when my heart goes still
The world seems to keep on spinning
So I’ll climb the eastern hill
And wait for the dawn

With Love,
Natalie
