I woke up with more energy than I’ve had in a while today. Perhaps motivated by the second episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which I watched first thing from my bed. Then . . . a dance party to Taylor Swift’s new song ensued? It’s not even really a dance song. But I made it work. On repeat.

I am all for dance parties, but they don’t usually happen at 7:30 in the morning for me. Maybe they should. It spurred me to start my workday earlier than normal, prepare for a training, and feel confident in getting everything (well, mostly) checked off my list going into the weekend.

This should be the whole post: do morning dance parties to Taylor Swift and you’ll probably have a better day than planned.

Or maybe: pick out clothes that make you feel good and strong and get dressed while having a Taylor Swift dance party in front of your mirror.

I could have written that sentence today or when I was sixteen and no one would know the difference. Some things really never change. My tastes have frozen in time.

Or maybe I can attribute the morning to the excellence of Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie. This show is already superb. Now streaming on Disney+. Consumption of all previous Marvel movies required prior to viewing.

However the stars aligned, I’m thankful for the end of the week energy to get me across the finish line.

Now, back into the Marvel universe for tonight’s movie . . .

With Love,

Natalie
