After a full week working from Hawaii and keeping central time, a few reflections:
- It is really nice to have the flexibility to be in Hawaii and still do my job.
- It is also super jarring to start working at 4:50 am when I’m used to a 8:50 am start. When do you eat? Take breaks? My body couldn’t quite figure it out.
- The day flies by.
- If I could shift the workday earlier overall in my own timezone I think I’d do it. We should all stop working by 2pm every day and go enjoy our lives.
- It turns out I can go to bed early if I get up early enough. A lesson I’ll try to take back home.
- Work is still work. You can still have a bad workday, even in Hawaii. But at least there was sunshine in February and an extra margarita.
- I am very ready to be in Hawaii and not working for this next week. It’s finally here.
Happy weekend!
With Love,
Natalie
Sounds like a good work week
