Half-day at work today, so I joined some of my family for a hike at the Peninsula State Park. I love where I live, truly. There’s so much natural beauty all around me. Today we climbed the park tower and then hiked down Eagle Trail that takes us down below the cliffs.
I haven’t been on this particular trail in nearly a decade — in the summer it’s too crowded, in the winter the rocks are too slick, but we had a sweet spot together. A nearly empty trail and a warmer day for this late in November.
