Tried something different today and went to a coworking space. NWTC has a small coworking space in Sister Bay that I’ve been on the waitlist for a few months. It’s basically the only coworking space in the county? They have two private offices and three cubicle stations and one of the cubicles opened up (I guess the offices don’t turn over very often and cubicle people get dibs).

I originally was on the waitlist because it’s near a daycare, but I think it might be good to work someplace else two or three days a week. Sometimes a commute is helpful. The workspace is nice, the staff friendly, and now I’m near more restaurants and a Piggly Wiggly to grocery shop. It’s low commitment and low cost ($75/month for a permanently reserved cubicle which just seems widely low to me compared to what I knew of Austin coworking spaces . . . I just googled it and the average for Austin is $225 per month).

Shaking up the routine a bit. We’ll see how it goes!

With Love,
