2023 was many wild things, but it was also the year I started updating my condo a little further past its 1979 aesthetic. Today was the last major piece for this year — the kitchen counters.
I didn’t take a good Before picture but I went back and found the listing for my place back in 2020 to show how the kitchen has changed with some new upgrades. Here’s what it looked like when I moved in:



This year we got new cabinet handles, a new fridge, and redid the floors (I hated that tile). The counters were next up!

It’s better, right? Feels like home. And I’m obsessed with the island being one level — I have so much more room on that surface than I did before. Merlin has already staked his claim, of course.
