My friends, Lin and Cara, drove up from Iowa today to spend the week! To kick off the vacation, we got adventurous and tried a new restaurant in Bailey’s Harbor that I am now obsessed with: Cover & Zot.

Someone at my mom’s 100+WWC Meeting was praising it to me last week – notably how nice the setting was on Lake Michigan and how the tourists hadn’t discovered it yet.

It did not disappoint. Their menu is primarily sharable food and an impressive list of curated wines and beers (Cara ended up with a honey mead that was delicious). We ate outside in comfortable chairs with a view of the lake and then afterward walked out the lawn where they had numerous bar games set up and places to take in the view. And it wasn’t that busy at all for ~6:30 on a Saturday in July.

I’m definitely going back. If you’re in Door County, you should check it out too.

With Love,

Natalie
