I’m at my brother’s office right now — he runs his own video production company Spoken Frame Media. I spend the afternoon with him filming some videos for my work, one way in which we get to collaborate and I am so thankful for it.
I drove down to Madison last night, grabbing my flu shot and some Rocky Rococo’s on the road and got to see my brother and sister-in-law’s new house for the first time. Everyone is just so grown up? A house, wow. I’m staying here until Saturday where I’ll make another drive to Des Monies for the week to visit my best friends Lin & Cara.
I think this change of environment will be good for me. I’ve been feeling down this week with the Amy Coney Barrett confirmation and then Jazz passing away. And the impending election . . .
This morning I went running on the Ice Age Trail which I can access just outside their neighborhood. It’s a peaceful trail through the prairie and down to Verona and was a good way to explore their area a little. Tonight, it’s just me and my bro with TBD plans to walk, eat, and entertain.
Like I said, a good change of pace and change of scenery. And thought I miss my boys dearly, I know my parents are taking good care of Merlin and Arthur.
With Love,
Natalie
