An updated list of reasons why I love playing in a D&D campaign (in addition to DM’ing one, which is great too):
- No prep, just show up and go
- You can make a plan to seduce an evil Minotaur clan leader
- You can win a race and be the fastest in all the land
- Your party creates wild fake summoning circles in the grass for a wrathful god in preparation for potential fornication and ambush
- The chaotic energy of a little whiskey and lots of laughter and being all-in for insane plans
Among many things, D&D is a great way to blow off some steam.
