I got another Covid-19 booster yesterday — I haven’t had one since September and I figured it doesn’t hurt to boost my immune system a bit before this summer. If this whole parenthood thing works out, getting Covid is the last thing I want, especially early on.

Of course, that means I kind of felt like crap today. A predictable illness that I always feel after the vaccines — where you’re functional but just off enough with a low fever to make the workday hard. It’s an easy place for my anxiety to spike too. So I have to look at myself in the mirror and remind myself I’m just a little sick and I’ll feel better tomorrow. Some YouTube and Google spirals later, I get myself to the shower, finally medicate my fever, and start to rehydrate as I wind down for the night — hopefully by watching something funny.

I started Dimension 20’s Neverafter — that’s funny. And I’m listening to Emily Axford DM a short seafaring campaign on Nadpodd.

Okay, okay back to drinking water. Seriously, that’s one of those basics that messes me up. Have you had enough water today?

With Love,
Natalie
