Recently I’ve been sharing excerpts from my letters to my daughter, Reese. In the new year, and post adoption finalization last month, I’ve been inspired to start a new project based on those letters. And with that, put this project of Life Is About Creating Yourself to an end. I’m forever grateful for the six years of this blog, but it’s time to continue my daily writing habit through a new lens.
Introducing Dear Reese.
I’ve moved that blog over to Substack, but if you’re a subscriber here you can still subscribe over there for free and receive updates in your inbox (or in the Substack app) from me. This is not the end of my writing, but a fresh start for a new chapter of my life.
Of course, the archives of this blog are here to stay — a history more for myself than anyone else.
I’ve written the first post on Dear Reese today, introducing the project. You can head to this link to read it.
Will I post here again? Never say never — I will forever be creating myself and there may be writing that makes more sense to live in this space than on Dear Reese. We are experimenting and iterating and growing all the while. But I’m really excited about this new chapter. Time to get out of haiku season and write again.
Forever With Love,
Natalie
