Today is a little success. Not much got done but that was the plan. In the weeks where I’ve been struggling to plan my downtime (as I usually do — I am typically intention about tv, books, etc so even the lazy days pass according to plan), it is a win to do nothing on purpose.
The day’s plan was to get pizza and watch Young Royals again and do laundry in between. Easy, done. Also I really really love Young Royals and now I need to reread Red, White, and Royal Blue … I just love that dynamic.
Plus Arthur felt very needy and cuddly.
There are more exciting ways to spend a Sunday but for me burning a candle, enjoying a Diet Coke, and getting immersed in great stories feels like a small way back to myself.
