A last look at checklists.

Grabbing the binder with the paperwork. Packing the D&D dice.

An indeterminate number of outfits for an indeterminate number of days I’ll be away.

More laundry. Another surface scrub of the bathroom.

I’m taking my parents’ car, The Egg, and it’s mostly packed.

I’ll miss my cats. I’ll miss my lake.

But I’m ready to go, finally. I’m sick of standing still. Let’s drive.

Tomorrow — leg one: to Madison.
