Today is my 6-year workiversary at my job at CareerPlug. Through all the opportunities, learnings, tough times, and amazing times, I remain so grateful to have found this company and these people. Doubly so after being supported in my move to Wisconsin to work remote permanently.

In tribute, here are six moments (out of many) from those six years:

  1. I drew a cat face on a whiteboard — big, in the middle, in the way — and the team had such a good meeting in it the next day that they decided it was a good omen and left it up for an entire year.
  2. Ashley and I spent a Saturday at the office building IKEA furniture, rearranging and cleaning up rooms, eating pizza hut, drinking a little whiskey and becoming friends.
  3. In May 2016 there was talk of getting rid of our Friday shout-out meetings and I got so upset I wrote and memorized a speech to deliver at said meeting and I’ve been leading them ever since.
  4. I write rhyming poems for NewYears — the last day at work — and only let those who were working that day here them.
  5. “Nothing is too big for you” (x)
  6. My Pluggie Awards. Mine this year was: “Most likely to increase her use of ‘uffda’ in 2020”

With love,

Natalie
