In Times of Trouble, Draw a Tree
I learned how to draw trees in grade school art. Trees with intricate branches – forked, forked, and forked again until they taper to a thin point. Intricate is too fine of word for the final product of these foliage pieces: I am not an artist now and was even less so when I was nine.
The Happy Times
I have always noticed when I am happy. I don’t believe I have taken it for granted. Some days I let these memories of happiness burn me instead of sustaining me.
That’s Why It’s Called Self-Esteem

Discovering Heat Packs
I didn’t even know I needed heat packs until I had them. My friend Jenna sent me two homemade mini (hand warmer size) heat packs as part of my holiday gift this year and I am promptly obsessed. They are sitting on my stomach as I write.
